Born December 4th, 1984 on the island of St. Maarten, Dwain Carbon is a leading expert in sales, network marketing and property development, and has thus far generated more than $37 million in revenue.
His extensive sales experience and driving disciplined work ethic made him the youngest self-made millionaire in his country, and a leading motivational speaker. Now he wants to help others to accomplish their goals and teach them how to create wealth.An avid reader, Dwain was raised and educated on the island where he was able to gain practical knowledge by helping his father run a family owned business. Dwain’s vast knowledge in the areas of personal wealth and growth stems from his practice of reading more than 20 books a year on subjects ranging anywhere from business to personal development.
As a young adult, he attended dozens of international sales training seminars featuring a variety of self-development leaders including Les Brown, Andy Andrews, Holton Buggs, and Anthony Robbins. He majored in Finance and Business Marketing at the University of St. Maarten and after two years, found his calling as a world-class Entrepreneur.
By 2007, the island of St. Maarten had become a popular destination for investors and visitors looking for a “home away from home.” Applying what he already knew and had learned from various books such as “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill and “How to Win Friends and Influence Others” by Dale Carnegie, Dwain joined the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group and quickly became a top sales agent. In 2010, he was voted one of St. Maarten’s top realtors by the “Home & Garden” television network and was featured on their syndicated program “House Hunters International.”
The following year, Dwain relocated to Tampa, FL in the U.S. and established his own company, Carbon Acquisitions Group or CAG. In his quest to become a renowned development company, he purchased a parcel of land on St. Maarten, which ultimately brought him back to the island. This tremendously successful 8 condominium project known as Unity Villas sold out within 2 short months.
Over the last ten years, CAG has become one of St. Maarten’s premier development companies. Dwain has lead numerous high end projects on the island including the ten luxury condominiums of Windgate Residences, as well as the Carbon Grove Residences, a gated community consisting of 101 homes with unobstructed ocean and lagoon views. CAG’s main objective is to Develop, Construct and Manage residential and commercial buildings. Working within St. Maarten’s competitive market, Dwain has succeeded in developing and providing housing to the country’s young professionals and business owners alike, as well as to foreign and local investors.
Dwain’s professional profile also includes positions as an Advanced Communicator with Toastmaster International; membership in the Six Figure Chairman 10 Club of the Forex Trading Company, International Markets Live; board member of Rotary Sunrise’s Interact Club; and Assistant President of the Christian Fellowship Church’s Men’s Ministry. In additional, Dwain has served as a volunteer social worker for the government of St. Maarten inspiring troubled teens and young adults to “have a winning spirit” as part of their Wave Outreach Program.
With an eye on expansion, Dwain is currently developing his first-ever boutique hotel. His vision is to create a chain of such hotels in highly sought-after destinations beginning with St. Maarten and extending throughout the Caribbean and Florida. His DC Boutique Hotel in St. Maarten will be located on a prime parcel of land and surrounded by popular restaurants, bars, and nightclubs with modern amenities touched with a Caribbean flair.
